My responsibilities include front and back end design of internal and external web applications and websites. Front-end ( UI and UX ) technologies include HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, and Bootstrap. Back-end ( server-side ) technologies include ColdFusion and PHP utilizing MySQL databases. I also program in ActionScript 2 and 3 as needed for FLASH - as well as FLEX development. I have a general understanding of Agile development and have utilized Scrum.
As a technologist I provide consultation for the design and development of new web projects - acting as liaison between the different departments of enterprise - sales, marketing, accounting - while managing quality control and supervision of project completion.
On the technical side I perform OS X Server setup and management, ColdFusion setup and management, LINUX/UNIX command line work, and MySQL database management. I emphasize redundant setups and perform hourly backups ( minimum ) to insure data integrity and security.
Browser compatibility, print design, marketing services ( email marketing, press & publicity, business automation ) and branding are normal tasks.
